Brian and Suzanne Kloss are the grateful owners of BSK Designs – Handcrafted Fine Jewelry & Repair Services, located in the heart of Lakewood Ranch. They service their clients needs on an appointment basis, ensuring that their attention is solely on you. From jewelry repair, custom design, gold buying, appraisals, jewelry gifting and more all of your needs are covered. We are everything a jewelry store is, without the brick and mortar store!
Brian is a GIA Graduate Gemologist and Master Bench Jeweler. Suzanne handles the jewelry design, client relations, and marketing. All of their work is done locally in their studio by Brian.
Q: Please tell us a little bit about your family.
We have been blessed with three beautiful young children, two boys and a princess.
Q: Please tell us about your current, past, or future career. What do you love most about what you do?
Brian has been a bench jeweler for over 20+ years and Suzanne previously owned an Ice Cream Store and Bakery in NJ. Meeting and connecting with our clients has been the joy of this business. Being able to sit down and connect with each client one on one creates a bond of trust and friendship!
Q: What are a couple of your favorite restaurants in our community?
We love going to dinner on Main Street and listening to live music with the kids!
Q: How long have you lived or worked in our community?
We moved to Lakewood Ranch 6 years ago from New Jersey and haven’t looked back!
Q: If you could travel anywhere in the world right now, where would it be and why?
We had dreams of going back to Amsterdam and Ireland for our 10 year Anniversary this year, guess we will have to postpone that!
Q: What is one of your favorite movies? TV shows?
We enjoy watching anything on HGTV together and getting inspired to rehab our home.
Q: What advice would you give to people?
Focus on connecting with the people around, you not the people who are in your phone!
Q: What is something on your bucket list?
Living for 6 months in the Netherlands.

Q: What current or former local business makes you the most nostalgic about our community?
We had a destination wedding at Lakewood Ranch Country Club so we are always happy to go to events hosted there.
Q: If you could choose anyone that is alive today and not a relative; with whom would you love to have lunch? Why? And where locally would y’all meet for this lunch?
Ina Garten, take her to the Culinary Innovation Lab on Main Street so she can cook with me!
Q: What is your favorite thing or something unique about our community?
We love that the majority of people living in LWR are transplants, it builds a community of family. Everyone has been so kind and generally happy to be living in this close knit community!
Q: Where do you see yourself in 5 to 10 years?
Still in Lakewood Ranch servicing all the jewelry needs of our community!
Q: (Even for friends or family), what is something interesting that most people don’t know about you?
We grew up a few streets down from one another and our parents set us up.
Q: What is the most beautiful place you have ever been?
Lucerne, Switzerland. It was like stepping into a story book.
Q: Favorite month? favorite holiday? and best single day on the calendar?
Christmas, because of the joy it brings our children.

Staying Grounded in our Faith.

Saltwater and Sunday Pasta Sauce cooking on the stove.

Having someone to love is Family, Having somewhere to go is Home, Having both is a blessing!
