I moved to Bradenton with my parents 17 years ago from Walnut Creek CA. I am a small animal veterinarian, graduated from University of Florida College of Veterinary Medicine in 2011.
Q: Please tell us a little bit about your family.
I am married to Steve Moser. No children, 2 four year old german shepherds.
Q: Please tell us about your current, past, or future career. What do you love most about what you do?
I am co-owner of Braden River Animal Hospital and North River Animal Hospital (Parrish). I have been an owner for almost 3 years, and have been managing both hospitals for over a year. I started at Braden River 15 years ago as a receptionist and then a technician before vet school. I then joined Braden River again as a doctor in 2012. I love my work for so many reasons. First I love animals and caring for them brings me great joy, as well as getting to knowy clients and working with them. I love the surgical aspects of my professional as well.
Q: What are a couple of your favorite restaurants in our community?
Poblanos Mexican, Wolves head, Texas roadhouse.
Q: How long have you lived or worked in our community?
I have lived in Bradenton for 17 years, minus the 4 years in Gainesville for vet school. I have been back now for 9 years.
Q: Who is the most interesting person you’ve met here in our community?
Probably some of my clients. They have lots of really interesting experiences and stories to share.
Q: If you could travel anywhere in the world right now, where would it be and why?
I would love to go back to Fiji. My husband and I went there for our honeymoon and it was amazing. We would love to go back some day. We love to travel and we have New Zealand, Europe, Egypt, and many other places on our travel list.
Q: What is one of your favorite movies? TV shows?
I love all things Marvel, Star Wars, Star Trek, and Disney. TV would include Friends, Shark Tank, the Profit, and Blue Bloods.
Q: What advice would you give to people?
To stick to your goals and work as hard as you can to achieve them. Hard work is never the wrong decision.
Q: What is something on your bucket list?
Hiking all over the world. My husband and I enjoy hiking, so anywhere we can do that is great!
Q: What is your go to band when you cant decide what to listen to?
I don’t have a go to, but I love oldies (50-60s) and music from my high school days.
Q: What current or former local business makes you the most nostalgic about our community?
Braden River AH actually does since I started there 15 years ago. Also the Beach House on Anna Maria Island.
Q: If you could choose anyone that is alive today and not a relative; with whom would you love to have lunch? Why? And where locally would y’all meet for this lunch?
I would love to get together with my cousins and their kids. We could go to the beach and enjoy lunch out there catching up.
Q: What is your favorite thing or something unique about our community?
Our community is growing so much, but I think it is doing a good job of maintaining the same feeling it has always had.
Q: Where do you see yourself in 5 to 10 years?
Still working/owning Braden River and North River Animal Hospitals. Potentially expand both practices in order to serve more of the community.
Q: (Even for friends or family), what is something interesting that most people don’t know about you?
Oh, I’m not very interesting overall. I’m never good at these questions.
Q: What is the most beautiful place you have ever been?
Q: Favorite month? favorite holiday? and best single day on the calendar?
I love fall, but Christmas is my favorite. I can’t say I have a favorite single day.
Q: What would you rate a 10 out of 10?
Spring day at the beach, when it isn’t crowded, with a nice breeze and a book.
Q: Who inspires you to be better?
My husband, my patients and clients, my staff.
Q: What is one or two of your favorite smells?

Comfort, security, and love.
