Sharon Frank

I am Sharon Frank and we moved to Lakewood Ranch back in 2004 from Tampa when our first school was under construction. Sixteen years later, we are still loving living here in this great community with now a second school and three grown beautiful children!

Q: Please tell us a little bit about your family.
My wonderful husband of 21 years Brad, our son Alec, 19 who attends Clemson University and our two daughters, Ava a senior and Ally a freshman, both at Cardinal Mooney Catholic High School. Last but not least, our three year old chocolate lab, Winnie.

Q: Please tell us about your current, past, or future career. What do you love most about what you do?
We are the proud owners of Primrose School at Lakewood Ranch Town Center and Primrose School at Lakewood Ranch North. We have taught and cared for thousands of children in our community for the past 16 years. In my opinion, there is nothing more rewarding than making a positive impact on a child’s life. How can we not love what we do!

Q: What are a couple of your favorite restaurants in our community?
First Watch is always our go-to favorite but we also love Michaelangelos and Lucky Pelican!

Q: How long have you lived or worked in our community?
16 years

Q: Who is the most interesting person you’ve met here in our community?
Larry Wade he’s an amazing man with great insight, advice and stories

Q: If you could travel anywhere in the world right now, where would it be and why?
Hawaii

Q: What is one of your favorite movies? TV shows?
Ozark, Judge Judy and all the Focker movies

Q: What advice would you give to people?
Never settle for second best

Q: What is something on your bucket list?
Travel to Australia

Q: What is your go to band when you cant decide what to listen to?
Anything 70’s or 80’s as it reminds me of my childhood

Q: What current or former local business makes you the most nostalgic about our community?
Main Street

Q: If you could choose anyone that is alive today and not a relative; with whom would you love to have lunch? Why? And where locally would y’all meet for this lunch?
I think having lunch with Adam Sandler would be pretty fun because he really makes me laugh, A LOT!

Q: What is your favorite thing or something unique about our community?
All of the wildlife. I just love when I see deer in our back yard

Q: Where do you see yourself in 5 to 10 years?
Traveling for pleasure, traveling to spend time with my children and settling down

Q: (Even for friends or family), what is something interesting that most people don’t know about you?
I won a pick up truck on Let’s Make A Deal gameshow when I was in college

Q: What is the most beautiful place you have ever been?
Turks and Caicos

Q: Favorite month? favorite holiday? and best single day on the calendar?
December is my favorite month and Christmas is my favorite holiday. The best single day is January 1st. The start of another year living life!

Q: Who inspires you to be better?
My three children

Q: What is one or two of your favorite smells?
Burgers on the grill and fresh cut grass
